Clarke is an accomplished author, trainer and fundraising consultant.  She is the author of Storytelling for Grantseekers: A Guide to Creative Nonprofit Fundraising and co-author of Grant Proposal Makeover: Transform Your Request from No to Yes.  A natural-born storyteller, Cheryl effectively integrates stories in her work to help amazing nonprofit organizations succeed at raising philanthropic funds.   She is honored to have worked in nearly all sectors in the nonprofit field, including education, arts, environment, social services, health care, youth development, senior services and faith based.   Before launching her consulting practice in 1995, she held senior development positions at the University of California-San Francisco, the University of San Francisco School of Law and The Marine Mammal Center.  She has served on several nonprofit boards of directors and is currently on the fund development committee for a community theater.  Cheryl has a law degree from the University of San Francisco and a BSJ from Northwestern University.
